Hi all,

Here's an updated sheet including details for problems with Geographic
scoring.

Cheers,

Neil

Andrew,

Please see the attached. If there is a resource issue, then please fix
the highlighted tracks first. If there is no resource issue, then
please address all of the attached tracks. The grey/white color
distinction is just for readability.

Thanks,

Ben

Here's the list of projects that have issues with the artist names and
daily scores on certain tracks. I'm checking the Geographic
distribution now, but this is gonna take a little while.

Cheers,

Neil

Easy Ben,

I'm going to spend all night hammering this and send any errors I find
back over to you guys. Once I've done that do you think it would be
possible to give Ruth an ETA?

All that aside, I'm inclined to give Ruth the ETA but explain that, as
the system is free and new, there is always the chance of the odd bug
here and there. Safe?

Cheers,

Neil

Hi Neil,

I've already sent the login details to the guys to have a look at the
system - there's enough information for them to get the gist of it all.
However it would be useful to know your timetable for getting the system
up to scratch.

many thanks

Ruth

Hi Ruth,

Unfortunately for us there are still a few errors on some tracks which
we are continuously ironing out. Even more unfortunately, these appear
to be with artists and tracks that are most likely to be of initial
interest to EMI marketing.

We had hoped that there would be more than enough data in the system
(the majority of projects are now showing complete data) for your
internal people to start playing with this, but I agree with your points
about the more popular artists. Perhaps, it would be best to wait until
we have absolute complete data for the artists you have used in your
tests below before you send out the details for internal
use/experimenting?

Due to a strong interest in previous supply/demand figures, we initially
focused on getting the data into the Daily Scores module. This is why
you are seeing the discrepancies with data for KT. Although both
modules utilize similar data, the Geographic module requires further
processing.

As you know we have had to rapidly move data across to the system which
is why there are still a few bugs with specific tracks. We are
continuously looking for and fixing these bugs, but as there are such a
large number of tracks and 3 different modules this is taking a little
longer than we initially anticipated.

Please continue to send us this useful feedback and we will continue
doing all we can to get the bugs fixed.

Many thanks and best regards,

Neil

Hi Ben,

I'm just preparing a note to go out to a couple of guys internally and
thought I'd play about with the system myself on the basis that if I can
do it, anyone can!

I found a couple of inconsistencies below and I know you're fixing the
issues Steff's brought to your attention but I just did some random
searching without anything specific in mind and found the KT
inconsistency below: i.e. no mention of no data for KT on the Daily
Score but mention of it on the Geographic chart.

Thanks

Ruth
