Danny,

Would you process the attached IPs for geolocation? You can just drop the port references that come after the colon (:). Let me know if there's a problem, or how long it would take to do this.

Thanks,
Ben

This isn't enough for any statistical analysis. Are there more torrents you can connect to or more IPs you can get from the current torrent?

Duc, Henry, or Hrach,

Has this movie "88 Minutes" leaked? If so, jump on a torrent and copy and paste the IPs into a txt file and email that to me. We'll try to correlate the IPs to country and see what that looks like.

Thanks,
Ben

We will setup a monitor report and get you a PDF by Monday.

The link below compares it with the new movie 1408 using google trends and they are close.

Leaks guys could search the blogosphere (digg, imdb, etc) and try to figure out whether interest is US/CA/both from forums. It's probably hard to quantify that though. The limewire thing probably won't work well because movies aren't popular on gnutella, this is a no name movie (so, it'll be noisy data), and limewire is US-centric anyway....

Hey,

I just got a call from Vicki at Sony Pics. They just acquired US and Canada distribution rights to a movie named 88 Minutes. She is pretty sure it's already leaked. Her question is if it has any sort of internet following/interest in the US and Canada. She'd like some sort of report on Monday for activity through the weekend and another one next wed for activity through Tuesday of next week.

Let's get the project started and see what request data looks like. Any ideas how to answer whether or not it is popular in the US and Canada? Limewire redirects? Some BT data? Can we compare it to one or two similar titles on limewire or BT? Thoughts?

Thanks,

Octavio Herrera
