It checks for individual torrents for 48 hours. There were database
problem over the weekend, it was full. It be might be related to this
problem. Please move those torrents back to protection folder manually,
we'll see if they get moved back to dead folder again.

Ivan,

 

The torrents team added many torrents last night, but it seems like the
dead torrent removal process already removed a lot of them. Obviously,
it hasn't been 48 hours, so does that mean your query is just run at an
interval of 48 hours and not checking individual torrents for 48 hours?

 

Also, many of the 'dead' torrents are actually not close to dead. See my
screenshot below. Several of these torrents will finish within an hour
or two. We saw similar results when Dan also randomly picked a few of
the 'dead' torrents.

 

What other things can we do to reduce the amount of false positives? We
rather err on the side of protecting dead torrents than prematurely
removing alive torrents.
