I confirmed with Colin that he IS starting tomorrow. IT is sorting a desktop for him now and he'll be sitting by the torrent team, as he'll be interfacing a lot with me and there seems to be the most room there.
Ebert and I are posting a job ad for a new BT person tomorrow and should start interviewing next week (hopefully).

Hi Jay,

I hope you are feeling better.

Octavio and I are going to be in Europe all of next week. A couple major issues that we need to get you and Grodsky up to speed on since you have both been out.

1. We signed a $3.6MM letter of intent for Uber 2 with Fox. They are mainly concerned about their 4 big summer movies. Fantastic 4 is coming out June 15th. We need everything working perfectly for that. I have already talked with Ebert about getting the BT team ramped.

2. We are having a major issue with our IP addresses at Arin. They received abuse complaints and are threatening to pull a big chunk of IPs. You should call Steve to get the complete update.

3. I would like to launch Miivi next week. The health feature/download speed is the last major feature that should go in before launch. We can just keep adding everything else after launch. I talked to Ivan and he said that we could index Miivi returns for a bunch of common gnutella searches to give fast contextual MiiVi returns using gnutella pop-ups. You need to let me know what I have to do with DirectNIC to get the MiiVi URL going to the right place. Also, Collin is supposed to start tomorrow.

Hope you get better, but if you are sick tomorrow, we should talk on the phone.

I'm back in town, but I got sick on my trip. I'm going to rest today and try to kick it.
