a little more insight into Paramount: they let their downloads run for 48 hours.... but they use uTorrent.

The only difference between our methodology and yours is the time allowed for a download. We allow 48 hours - which we think is reasonable since downloaders can easily leave a download running in the background for extended periods of time before giving up.
