cool. it's working pretty well now. i'm getting 3 vids with between 5-20 peers total and averaging between 100 and 150 KB/sec.

probably pretty important

*
i know you're working on Preview stuff, that'll be great once it's implemented. some icon/indicator should blink when a preview is ready. does this depend on the embedded player problems you were just telling me about?

probably not critical stuff for next week, but here are some initial comments:

*
the locks don't seem to work yet: i'm able to move stuff from my currently downloading at the top of my queue to some place else altogether and stop the download. what are the locks supposed to do?
*
in IE i wasn't able to drag and drop a video above the page fold (e.g., from the bottom of the queue to the top). i had to drag it half way and then continue moving upward.

Yeah, it takes it a while to start transferring, and sometimes it never starts. We're working on it.

i'm looking at the connections in net peeker to see if i notice anything exciting. started transferring files within 2 minutes, but the vid at the top of my queue hasn't started at yet.

Put app.jar in a directory, go to that directory at the command line, then type "java -jar -Xmx512m app.jar". Then go to http://129.47.9.160/zonie/ in IE or Firefox, make sure you're signed in, then go to My Queue.

Ok, new jar that should work in XP IE unpatched.

Basically, the limit on connections is 10, so 3 transfers x 3 connections is 9, so that's pretty much at the limit. So what I did was do 3 transfers with 1 connecting connection each. 3x1=3. It works much better. That along with the IE image cache fix, things look more sexytime.
