Yuck. Can you find out what reports we might not get the downloaded
movies for? I want to figure a time frame to go back to ask for credits
where they messed up.

I've been talking to Bay almost every day about this. All their data is
on an external harddrive that they're trying to recover since it got
corrupted two weeks ago.

Ben G:

Can you follow up with Bay to find out their schedule for uploads.

We still have not gotten all of the files from the first test. I
believe it is very likely the meganova files were decoys but they
haven't supplied us with them yet.

When you are done with all of your analysis for the entire month of bay
fox testing, compose an email sumrizing which tests we believe were
wrong. Please include all pertinent information like testing date,
country, network, etc. Make sure it is VERY organized and complete.

Thanks

We just verified that both of the files from Bitenova are our decoy
files (One made by Rendy, the other by Gerald). Although the first half
of the movie is included in the decoys, the second half makes it obvious
that the file is indeed a decoy. It doesn't look like BayTSP looked
through the entire file when doing their verification otherwise they
would've seen this:

Here's the summary for the Fox France tests. We had two bad fails on
WinMX because the services weren't turned on for these networks. For
the BitTorrent test on "The Simpsons," 5 of the real files came from
TorrentReactor and 2 came from Bitenova. The real files that came from
Bitenova are strange as we normally do well on this site. We'll
download the files from Fox to confirm these results.

Results Summary

28 Weeks Later (France)

DirectConnect - 1 real out of 25 attempts
Shareaza - 4 real out of 25 attempts
WinMX - 15 real out of 25 attempts
BT, eD2k, Gnutella - 100% effective

The Simpsons (France)

BitTorrent - 7 real out of 50 attempts
DirectConnect - 1 real out of 25 attempts
Shareaza - 4 real out of 25 attempts
WinMX - 18 real out of 25 attempts

Ben, Benny and Dan,

See below and attached.

Bay also told me they have uploaded to our QA ftp the outstanding France
downloads from last month. Let me know if this is not the case and what
else they still owe us.

Thanks,
Ben
