Meeting Notes: 16 March 2007

Here are today's meeting notes. If I have missed anything, please revise
accordingly and send it around again.

 

* Check up on the Hash Checker from the BTgenerator after the
database's are moved (QA/Torrents).

        * Make sure decoys are distinguished appropriately.
        * Verify time efficiency in generating results.

 

* Verify formulas on Test Results .xls sheets (to QA).

        * Specifically for Paramount BT testing results.
        * Take out "Shooter" from Paramount Testing.
        * Add "Norbit" and "Shrek the Third" (when it leaks) to
Paramount Testing.

 

* Install a SQL DB interface on machine to run tracker software
for credibility build-up (to Gerald).

 

* Allow up to 70% of real content in uploads for UPic's Projects
(to Torrents).

        * Chop and Screw method (Content manipulation).
        * The following movie projects will be chop and screwed
this week: "Georgia Rule", "Heroes", "SNL" and "Hot Fuzz".
        * Consult with Rendy/Gerald concerning usage of software
for manipulation of video.

 

* Continue on Neyo/Linkin Park projects (to Mark).

        * Collect data from the following sites:

                * Mininova, Torrentspy, Isohunt, and the
Piratebay.

 

* Determine which public trackers report numbers or work best with
the following sites (to Herden).

        * Snarf-it.org and Meganova.

 

* Reinstate old methods of getting high seed/peer numbers on
Torrentz.com (to Torrents).

        * Bury old school tracker in list of public trackers.
        * Upload to "old school-friendly" sites.

                * Monitor these sites for the possibility of being
banned.

 

* Ask Leaks for project release schedule/title designation for Fox
and Universal Music (to Herden).

 

* Apply content manipulation to upcoming Universal Music projects
of appropriate popularity (to Torrents).
