Yeah, it can watch over any linux or windows 2003 server (Not XP). I
believe Linus is using it as he asked for an account last week and I
gave him one. I haven't heard if hes having any problems and I don't
know which servers are his so I can verify if they are showing up.
Encourage them to talk to me if they have any questions or whatever.

You have to yum install mdstatusd on a particular server to get it to
show up. That will give you on/off status info. To get cpu, memory,
and bandwidth etc you have to setup snmp on the server which I
usually do for everyone so they don't have to remember how and
possibly misconfigure it creating security vulnerabilities etc.

My next project for the status system is to create the failure
notification component. I have some more graphs to add as well. I
only have in/out bandwidth right now, but I created a solid
foundation so I can easily add more metrics.
