FW: Snarf-It Invalid Torrents

Could there be a reason for making torrents that have XML contents? Nothing comes to mind, but I'm just checking with y'all.

I have looked at a few other torrents on that site that we are not protecting and gotten the same problem. There may be a problem with the entire snarf-it site. See if you can get a real copy of the movie from snarf-it or if all the torrents are broken at this time.

Upon opening the file using a text editor, I found that it's not a torrent file after all:

        <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
        <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
                 "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd <http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd> ">
        <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml <http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml> " xml:lang="en" lang="en">
         <head>
          <title>404 - Not Found</title>
         </head>
         <body>
          <h1>404 - Not Found</h1>
         </body>
        </html>

I'm pretty sure this is a torrent that I made, because I have one with that same exact name. I tried opening it with a BT client and it opened just fine. My theory is that this is something that Snarf-It does when it finds a fake.

        Hey guys,

        The top 15 results for "The Simpsons Movie" are all invalid torrents on Snarf-it.org. Could someone please look into this? We won't be getting any credit for these torrents since they're aren't downloadable. I attached a sample torrent.

        Thanks,
