The basic problem, I think, is the procedure is crap and these guys are disorganized. They didn't know about the decoys Rendy made, until I just told them. They have no flow of communication and are disorganized Torrent Thugs right now. Jonathan sent me a resume for a former call center manager, with experience using bittorrent, and music experience mixing. I have an interview sceduled with him for Monday afternoon. If he's as good as he sounds, problem should be solved within 2 months and we can hire a bigger team to support 2-3 shifts. If they're proper shifts, we won't even need to buy more computers or worry about employee space. I want 3 shifts of 3 with 1 person over-seeing the whole thing. The shifts would cover 5 am to 11 pm 7 days per week. The only overlap time between shifts should be for a weekly meeting with Ebert.

There were 128 posts for the whole week for the entire team?

I certainly hope Dylan's data is missing some stuff then.

These reports were for the time period Monday-Friday (of this week). During that time he generated 10/128 recorded decoys. Unless he's done substantially more work (that for some reason isn't recorded in the report from Dylan), what he's done to warrant firing is too little.

If I remember correctly, Ebert just "demoted" Herden a few days ago. Has he reallly done anything in the last couple days to fire him over?

Ben,

We're going to have to fire Herden. I'm totally confused what is going on with Die Hard 4. Niles just asked me for the non-chopped and screwed Die Hard trilogy from the File Server to be burned to DVD (I did that--that's fine). I thought Rendy and Herden had already made chopped and screwed Die Hard 4 decoys.... Also, the reports from Dylan show that most of the work is still NOT being done by Herden. I'm not sure what knowledge Herden has, or whether he's done a lot of work that wouldn't show up in these reports, but the only person who posted less than he was Mark (who I know is tracking decoys and doing some other monitoring-type things).

-Ben
