RE: Myspace Chart Data

I already talked to O about this. It turns out this was a db dump of a MySpace scrape of the top 45,000 (yes thousand) artists on MySpace. Unless Atlantic can limit this list to something more manageable, the only thing we could do for them would be based on the global data. FYI, the big artists on this list are already signed (and with other labels), so I'm not sure what Atlantic could even gain from this.

Hey, randy and I had a call last week with Atlantic records who is interested in having us track some unsigned artists they pulled off myspace. I'm not sure we will end up doing this for them since we are heading down the path of giving sonybmg data but I'd be curious to know how many acts he's talking about. Of course I can't open a MYSQL file so let me know what you think.

Hey, Octavio. Sorry this took so long. Included is a MySQL file which contains a number of myspace acts aggregated from most to least amount of myspace plays. Please use this to test on the P2P tool we have previously discussed. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
