Keep me posted on this. I don't want to raise it yet. Let me know if
we start seeing a pattern of fails.

Audible Magic recently upgraded to the latest version of Piolet, v1.99.
Jonathan noticed that when you upgrade from 1.98, the encryption goes
back to "Full Encrpytion", which causes us not to hit anymore.

Since they upgraded, they tested us 6 times and we passed 4 / failed 2.
We might've gotten lucky or they might have reverted to the old setting
that we asked them to have "selective encryption.

I think we got lucky because they're not getting 45 results now
(indication we're not hitting). We should probably bring it to their
attention and make sure they have it on "selective encryption" again so
that we hit.

Hi Randy,

Yes, the encryption option is turned off. The other setting under
Settings->Security->Protocol that IS selected (by default) is "Full
Encryption." The other option would be "Selective Encryption." I don't
know if you see this information but for a couple of the attempted
Piolet
tests there were 43 - 44 search results so I couldn't use them.

eDonkey is working but hasn't been requested to test for some time by
UMG.

Erik

Hi Erik:

Can you confirm that your Piolet settings regarding the encryption
option is
turned off. It seems like it is turned on by the fact that you got 3
"not
enough results" and 1 fail on Piolet. In our internal tests, we always
get
at least 45 results unless that setting is turned on.

Also, is your eDonkey client working? I have not seen too many
eDonkey/Overnet tests.

Thanks for checking. Have a great Turkey Day!

Cheers,
Randy
