Just to be clear, this is not in the current global data we are integrating with AD.

All,

I agree, it's definitely a potential silver bullet to relating data at the track level more straightforwardly. We are not seeing this data currently being offered to us, typcially only UPC at the album level, but I'll inquire and see why we're not receiving it. We might very well have access to all of the ISRC's for tracks and if we do, we'll figure out a way to pull it all in and leverage it. Great idea and could make alot of sense. Thanks.

        Jay, Michael, Octavio and Randy,

ArtistDirect uses ISRCs for some videos, and some tracks currently. Michael thinks he may receive these data, just that AD is not currently storing it. If these data exist on AD's side, they could be used to link tracks to 30 second clips (same ones that Amazon has for most music tracks).

MediaDefender uses ISRCs for most of its music protection business, but not currently in its Marketing Intel system. On the MD side we'll try thinking of where there may be useful data that could incorporate ISRCs for a future, more thorough integration with ArtistDirect.

        Great idea Randy!!

        Thanks,
        Ben
