We should also have a message on the applet page that they should not close that window because it will stop the downloading of they file they want.

What do you think about giving messages to miivi users when something new happens. For example, when their library starts to get full, a message goes up to check the about to be deleted. When someone queues something for the first time a pop up could say "this is now in the fourth position of your queue. click here to view your queue." I was definitely thrown off the first time a download timed out. The message there could say "you have a download that timed out because it did not find any sources for 6 hours. it is now at the bottom of your queue. please lock the file if you would like it to attempt to download longer than 6 hours."

I don't think we want to hit them with too many of these messages, just the first time something unexpected happens.
