Anything I ask them, they'll ask me. I will only go as far as telling them about mod 137 and info that's on our website anyway. Our website doesn't say what networks we're on, so I won't either. If they get me on IM, it'll be easier for me to get info. ;)

Cool. Also try to get an idea of what networks they claim to cover.

We should get TMG's magic number soon. Here's their headquarters address:

13, Rue de la Loire
44230
St Sebastien Sur Loire
France

Here's what we saw so far:

On eMule, we ran some DL tests on the popular real servers. We focused on just DLing the "French" version of Spider-man 3. Out of 10 DL, I got 6 renamed porn, 2 crossnamed files (other movies), and 2 real. None of the 8 non-real files were mod 137 or mod 21139 (mediasentry's identifier). So it's possible those files came from TMG although we can't say conclusively since we don't know their identifier. Even if we did know it, I thought they would mod those renamed porn movies, if they were indeed pushing them out. My assumption is that the non-real files we saw were natural protection (from regular users) and not from them. I didn't see any blocks of their IPs either.

On BT, we have consistently seen their IPs on several Spiderman torrents. On many of the torrents, we see both there's and mediasentry's IPs. However, except for 1 file, that got stuck at 9.4%, all of the other torrents finished, which indicates their attempt at swarming or interdiction does not have an effect.

If we get more info through our coordination w/ them, then we'll revisit this analysis. Right now its kinda messy because all 3 of us (MD, MS, and TMG) are trying to protect the same title.

Cool, we're looking into it.

Any extra info they send our way for the "coordination" will be really helpful. We already know a lot of their IPs, so that helps a bit. Getting their filesize mod would be good.

We're focusing our search on eMule and BT. On all the other networks, our protection overpowers anything else.
