Re: Audible Magic monitoring results - 1st week of testing in May

Here are my thoughts on that.

A new version of Ares is released every 1-3 weeks. That version will
contain our current IPs. There is always a chance AM will upgrade,
because there is always a new version out. And when they do, there
is an extremely high chance their new version will contain our
current IPs, even if we rotate them right now based on the assumption
that they should be upgrading soon.

Do you have any evidence to suggest they are about to upgrade? If
not, then I think we should only rotate based on network penetration
of the newer versions and our overall effectiveness on the version
they are actually using to test. We will probably eat a bad week
when they do upgrade, but even if we rotated every 2-3 weeks it
probably wouldn't change that too much. If IPs weren't so valuable
then I would be for rotating them all the time.
