Hi all,

I just spoke to Steff and he has agreed to get all of their testers to paste the following link into the 'update sever.met from URL' on eMule: http://ed2k.2x4u.de/ufmwlhpx/max/server.met

He has confirmed that they are connecting to the servers with the highest number of users and that they are using global search.

He asked me if we had more servers on this list - I explained that a lot of servers on their old lists were dead and it would make more sense to use one that is updated regularly.

Cheers,
Neil

Our servers only show up in one of their server.met files (UK). All of the other server.met files are almost identical to the Gruk server list (http://gruk.org/list.php?sort=ping). Based on our internal tests, our servers will eventually show up in their clients, but they'll have to connect to around 10-15 servers before our servers will enter their list.

Ideally, we'd want them to use the server list from http://ed2k.2x4u.de/index.html. I think we'd have a good argument as the list is referenced on the official eMule support page: http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/help.cgi?l=1&rm=show_topic&topic_id=131. We have a strong presence in the "best servers" list.

The converted met files can be found at: \\mdfile01\public\QA\EMI\server_met\Global Server.met Files 22.08.07 <file:///\\mdfile01\public\QA\EMI\server_met\Global%20Server.met%20Files%2022.08.07> .
