Re: New MiiVi ip

I'd probably setup an rsync script, and just execute it whenever i
wanted to sync files from my dev box to the remote box for debugging/
deployment. Its very nice for mirroring or pushing files, and it
comes standard on any unix, linux, or mac box. It only transfers
parts of files that have changed since the last rsync. I use it to
mirror our linux repository with a master on the web somewhere, so we
can install stuff really fast on our servers. Those are like 20 GB
and it rsyncs in just a few seconds if nothings changed, and then
just transfers anything new.

For instance to mirror the directory /home/ty/somefolder to a
destination i would do the command:
rsync -avz --delete /home/ty/somefolder root_at_129.47.9.160:/somepath

Put that into a shell script or in a make file or whatever and you
can deploy stuff really fast.
