Re: BT Harry Potter

I know who the tester is. I know what computer he's using. I'm trying to assess the risk of exposing us more on ed2k with focused protection versus assuming he'll connect to our servers. It's the same computer and tester that tests us for fox. How have we done historically for fox testing on ed2k? Do they normally hit our servers?

The focused protection I was referring to was what we did for F4, where we hit on the real DonkeyServers and BigBangs. Unless I misread your email...it doesn't have anything to do with Fox connecting to our servers.

Our focused protection worked well for F4. I sent out the results for that on Friday.

Tabish,

How do we normally do on Fox eMule testing? Does fox normally hit our servers? I know we haven't had results from then in 2+ months and that you're asking about EA?

Do we want to add eMule focused protection on this, like we did for F4?
If we do, that will make 3 focused projects running concurrently, F4, Die Hard, and this.

These are the BT sites we said we would hit on:

o Bitenova.nl
o TorrentPortal.com
o Torrentreactor.to
o TorrentBox.com
o Torrentspy.com

Any thing that leaks is fair game for BayTSP to look at. So far its xbox360, psp, ps2...but keep an eye on leaks as other versions get released and post accordingly.

EA never disclosed the download timeframe...so let's just do all we can and hope its enough.

They will be focusing on BT and eMule.

Mark, please get the list of torrents for takedown on Sunday.

Niles, this is another one for you to post on, the rest of the team will continue with FF and Die hard.

This is the EA title that we are going to be tested on.
Download ASAP and send out leak email.
DMcCombe_at_ea.com
khopkins_at_ea.com
kjessop_at_ea.com

Turn on protection as outlined earlier.
On previous email I also listed a batch of torrent sites. We need torrents posted on those.

I know fox is the torrent priority, but randy and Octavio are aware of this EA trial and the need for BT protection.

Torrent team also needs to gather a list of torrents on torrentspy for Takedown. Please have this for Ben Hui on Monday.

Have QA look at this as soon as its ready. I don't think Bay will start testing until sometime during the week, so it gives is a couple days to tighten up.

The group known as Allstars has released a XBOX 360 rip of "Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix." This is from EA. Please us know if we need to download this game.
