Andrew and I have been training the PM staff to handle MI for a couple of weeks. They are pretty good at using the site and have loads of feedback to provide about the site's interface. At this point the issue is really just getting the customers to use the site themselves. If we go down the path of making reports for them, we've gained much less than if they make reports for themselves.

Dong, for example, is demanding we provide a "whitepaper" detailing the site's features before he passes the site along to anyone. EMI is the only customer to have provided any real feedback to date. UMG and UMGI have only logged in a couple of times.

Thanks. We need a couple MI support staff to become stone cold experts in the MI system. They need to learn all the bells and whistles.

We should also tell them that it would not be unusual for activity to go down over a holiday weekend.

Ben

Can you have Jasper call ethan to help him? We need to get MI support going because I suspect people are going to massively struggle, and I don't want to spend all my/your time babysitting them.

Key things to communicate is that
1. data stops midnight day befor
2. Data less than 1 could be noise.
3. The really popular tracks have to be removed to see scale on the smaller ones.
4. Hourly data can only show one song at a time.
5. The start and stop dates have to be ranges we are collecting data. Start date is next to song titles.

FYI-- I tried looking at the Kanye activity over the past few days (post leak) but can't seem to get a graph that represents that.

David,

The new tool most certainly does. I encourage you/Ethan to look into the Kanye West data on that site.

Attached is a graph of the daily score view for all these tracks. The graph would be much less cluttered, if you selected which ever tracks are of most interest to you. The geographic data is fairly interesting too, but that is so cluttered with all the diamonds from each of these tracks that I'm almost embarrassed sending it to you (however, I have and it is attached).

As you have feedback to provide on our marketing intelligence website, please don't hesitate to communicate that to me, Gilberto, Octavio and Randy.

Thanks,
Ben
