Fw: Spider-Man 3 - Sony

Ben or Jay,

Is it technically difficult and would MS see any benefit from allowing file size divisors to be different project-by-project? I have a feeling 21139 is just the mod for this movie. I'm guessing there's extra overhead added to look that up, but it would just be a project management-type setting. I'm not implying we should do this, just trying to assess the quality/effect of my crack.

Below is how mediasentry uses a file size divider for decoys.

Divisible by 21139. If the result is a whole number, that’s our decoy.

For a multi-part file, it’s the last file in the set which would be divisible by 21139 and result in a while number.

Thanks for your prompt response. Please advise if that divisor on your end should change so that we can properly accommodate everything.

Yes, 137 should work. How should we ID your decoys?

Randy – Sony Pictures asked us to coordinate with you regarding our services on Spider-Man 3.

Are your countermeasures for this title divisible by 137 as with other titles? Or is there another divisor we should be aware of?

Please advise…and thanks.
